When hiring a new employee in Mexico, employers must factor in overhead costs like annual salary, contribution to Mexico’s social security system, employment insurance, vacation and sick leave, onboarding, and benefits. Employers must provide a Christmas bonus called an "aguinaldo" by December 20. Employees working for any company with profits over $300,000 MXN are entitled to profit-sharing, except if the business is in it’s first-year.
